Vibotype

About Vibotype

Vibotype was made because we kept noticing the same gap. People talk about how they were raised, how they argue, how they apologise. They rarely talk about how desire actually works in them: what turns it on, what shuts it off, how it starts, and what they want when they reach for someone or are reached for in turn.

The map

The test measures two dials that published research says every person has: how strongly desire runs (your Accelerator) and how easily it gets shut down (your Brakes). The two dials make a map with four corners, and the corners are the four types: All or Nothing, Ready When You Are, Slow and Steady, and Vibe First. None of them is a diagnosis and none of them is a rank. Each one is a shape that already exists in you and is worth being able to point at.

The voice

We write for adults. We use the words that mean what they mean. We do not use wellness clichés, mystical framing, or clinical pathology. The reference points we pay attention to are writers who take pleasure seriously without cheapening it: Esther Perel, Mary Roach, Maggie Nelson.

What we do not do

Vibotype is not a dating product, not a kink quiz, and not a medical assessment. It does not diagnose. It does not prescribe. It reads a pattern and names it. Vibotype is built by Our Senses, the company named in our Privacy Policy, and answers only to the people who take it.
